Newcastle Mobility has been made aware of a scam involving someone falsely using our business name, identity and photographs of our showroom.

The scammer has been contacting people via WhatsApp, claiming to be selling an R9 Mobility Scooter and requesting payment using Apple Gift Cards / Apple Cards.

🚨 PLEASE BE AWARE: THIS IS NOT NEWCASTLE MOBILITY.

We strongly encourage members of the public to:

Do not respondto these messages.
• Do not send any money, gift cards or payment details.
• Do not provide the person with any personal or financial information.
• If you receive a message claiming to be from Newcastle Mobility and are unsure whether it is genuine, please contact our office directly on 02 4962 4007 before making any payment.

Newcastle Mobility will never request payment via Apple Gift Cards or similar gift cards.

Unfortunately, the individuals involved are using our business identity and photographs without our permission in an attempt to appear legitimate.

The Homecraft Caring Cutlery range are stainless steel utensils moulded into contoured, ivory-coloured plastic handles with built-up ends.
These are of value to those with a weak grip and restricted wrist or finger movement.
