Newcastle Mobility has been made aware of a scam involving someone falsely using our business name, identity and photographs of our showroom.

The scammer has been contacting people via WhatsApp, claiming to be selling an R9 Mobility Scooter and requesting payment using Apple Gift Cards / Apple Cards.

🚨 PLEASE BE AWARE: THIS IS NOT NEWCASTLE MOBILITY.

We strongly encourage members of the public to:

  • Do not respondto these messages.
    • Do not send any money, gift cards or payment details.
    • Do not provide the person with any personal or financial information.
    • If you receive a message claiming to be from Newcastle Mobility and are unsure whether it is genuine, please contact our office directly on 02 4962 4007 before making any payment.

Newcastle Mobility will never request payment via Apple Gift Cards or similar gift cards.

Unfortunately, the individuals involved are using our business identity and photographs without our permission in an attempt to appear legitimate.

Please feel free to share this post to help us warn others and prevent anyone from becoming a victim of this scam.

The Icon Maxx 350kg mattress is a 4-layered static foam bariatric mattress with firm hinged strengthened sides, triple segmented base, and Advantiflex Classic pressure care cover. The Icon Maxx 350kg is a high performance mattress suited to clients between 90-350kg with a medium risk of pressure injuries. This therapeutic weight loading is achieved through 18cm of the careful selection and grading of pressure redistributing, high comfort, supportive and foundational foam grades. The base two foam layers are split into three segments to allow the firm mattress to contour effectively on a profiling bed. The Advantiflex Classic cover on the Icon Maxx is supplied with an extra heavy PVC base to provide additional durability. The Icon Maxx 350kg is the fitting choice for bariatric clients looking to achieve comfort, longevity and long-term effective care.
